Social Media Intern and Blogger 

 

Job description:

This position would offer assistance with the day-to-day social media and marketing projects at Elpromotions. The position is a non-paid, part-time or full-time internship and can be credit based with a time commitment of 15-30 hours per week. (depending on the University/course requirements)

The internship is Home based, ideally in London and will be managing our social media channels, such as Facebook, Twitter and website Blog. The position will cover travel and expenses. The internship is available for a minimum of three months and a maximum of twelve months. 

This role would suit somebody who is keen to establish a career in fashion, events and marketing area, with a specific interest in model bookings and fashion. The applicant must have an excellent command of the English Language, have good knowledge of social media and be able to show examples of work/projects relating to these.

 
 
Role:
  • To lead all social media strategy, planning and development. This will include managing Facebook, Twitter Google+, Linked In and Blog. 
  • To provide part-time/full-time assistance for the agency and all its departments. To manage Elpromotions Blog, write all articles and manage the design, layout and features. Multiple SMM account management may be required.
  • To build and develop a good database of press/media contacts, to produce press releases and make sure articles are featured in online and offline media.
  • Create and develop a good database of new potential clients for the international model roster and events field.
  • Attend events with the current Director, write up blogs, develop relationships with like minded brands, be the face Elpromotions.
  • To promote and advertise models in UK, Ibiza and LA, as well as any Elpromotions events.

 

Essential Requirements:

  • Perform social media market research
  • Collect and analyse marketing data to develop and adjust marketing plans
  • Fully manage and update Elpromotions’ website, Blog, Google+, Linked In, Facebook and Twitter pages
  • Perform other duties as requested

  • Be studying either a Marketing and Advertising, PR, Fashion Communications or Digital Marketing degree.
